Amanda Hamilton, 35, is a health expert and nutritionist who regularly features on BBC television and radio, GMTV and UKTV. She is a well-respected author and regularly contributes to national titles and is a member of the Guild of Health Writers. Best known by many in the health industry as the founder and director of a well-known and respected retreat company.
Amanda's C.V. stretches from the sublime to the ridiculous. Her media career was kick started reading the TV news in Aspen, a ski bunny sideline that stayed the course.
Always one to tread her own path, she swapped the screens for Ashram living in the Himalayas, studying Ayurvedic Medicine with a local doctor and studying yoga.
She has also had a stint in Mexico as an eco-journalist (a fluent Spanish speaker) and has a degree in Communications. She is a qualified Nutritional Therapist registered with the British Association (BANT) and studied under Dr Lawrence Plaskett.
